Our deepest sympathies for your loss. Marlene truly loved her family and friends. She fought a battle to take every advantage of experiencing as much time with her loved ones as she possibly could. It takes incredible courage, strength, and love to fight that type of battle. Her fight was a blessing for everyone whose life she touched. It provided the opportunity to experience extra time to laugh, relive the past, and share memorable experiences. To Gerry and family; we were saddened to learn of Marlene's death. I worked many years with her, always such a kind considerate nurse. She made my day when I called Maternity years ago and asked about our new grand baby...she could not reveal too much but told me I should be buying pink! I have never forgotten that moment of excitement and how she shared that news with me. Prayers and hugs.

Gerry, Garth & Melissa, Marlene worked nights when both of my children were born. She'd quietly sneak in, perch herself on my bed and never left until all of my questions were answered.
