Obituary of Raymond Cole

COLE ~ Raymond Francis Eber Cole passed away at the Jubilee Home, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the age of 93 years. Raymond was born on June 19, 1920 at LeRoy, Saskatchewan. Raymond leaves to mourn his passing: seven children: Mary (Clarence) Huber, Annie (Richard) Dalton-Binsfeld, Elma (Cliff) Binsfeld, Nellie Cole, Betty (Alan) Kirby, David (Monique) Cole and Norma Hall (Blaine Ross); daughter-in-law, Carol Cole; twenty-five grandchildren; fifty-two great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; brother, Archie Cole; two sisters: Annebell Starks and Mary Schulz as well as numerous other relatives. Raymond was predeceased by his wife, Georgina; two sons, Gordon and Robert; two great-grandchildren: Lacey and Dillion; three brothers and three sisters. The funeral service for Raymond was conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Paul DuVal officiating. Michael Ricard and Bruce Binsfeld gave tributes. The hymns sung were, "Beyond the Sunset" and "Amazing Grace" accompanied by soloist, Robyn Binsfeld and pianist, Lisa Binsfeld. The active pallbearers were Bruce Binsfeld, Kent Binsfeld, Phillip Kirby, Robert Cole, Greg Cole and Michael Ricard. Interment was held in the Lloydminster City Cemetery, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Donations in memory of Raymond may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to a Charity of the Donor's Choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
