My brother and I would get off the bus at Peggy and Gerry's farm when our road was closed a number of times when a blizzards would close the school and we would have to go home early. I always felt welcome in their home....also the skidoo trips we would all do when I was young...I enjoyed the lake visits.....Also Peggy and Gerry's visit out to BC to visit my parents....will miss you Gerry.....My sympathy and love with you Peggy......

It has been a long time since we worked together with you out in the burning hot hay field where you would always drink 'hot' coffee. I didn't understand at the time but you had a good explanation. "It cools me off!" You were very meticulous about how you decorated the Christmas Tree: It was always very beautiful. Time has slipped away from us all and it has been a long time since we saw you but you will not be forgotten. Peggy, you have our condolences.

Such fond memories of Gerry at the lake - teaching us to waterski, sharing stories by the campfire, John Deer tractor collections and a great sense of humor. Although we haven't been around the last few years, it was alway warming to visit with Gerry and Peggy together. I'm so glad we got to see you both in July last year, and even with oxygen-in-tow, he still managed to laugh and make us smile. I am so sad to see you go Gerry but know you can now relax. Peggy our thoughts are with you and the family. We will never forget Gerry and we are always here for you Peggy x
Lots of love from us both

Uncle Gerry...You have always been in my life. I value all the memories we have. I remember the successful Saturday when the 4-Ds all got up on water skis and you pulled us around Whitney Lake. I fondly remember the Christmas tree hunt on snowmobiles - enjoying the great Alberta Winter landscape of Whitney Lake. I knew that you were always there for us.
You and Aunt Peg have lived an Awesome & Successful life. You had a get-r-done attitude and accomplished many things.
You showed true courage and kept all dignity through out your last days.
You will always be in our hearts.
Love you Uncle Gerry.

During this difficult time we would like to extend my most heartfelt sympathies. We have very fond memories of Gerry - especially the evening pontoon trips he included us on! And, of course, the many woodworking projects that he was always doing! We are happy to have these fond memories that he leaves us with, and he will be very missed.
