Obituary of So Lo

LO ~ So Ying Lo passed away at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the age of 86 years. So was born in Canton, China on August 13, 1927 to Sam and Sang Woo. So leaves to mourn her passing: five children: Kwai Chu Lo Wong of Hong Kong, William Lo of Edmonton, Grace Lo of Lloydminster, Juanita Lo of Lloydminster and Clara Chu of Los Angeles; as well as ten grandchildren. So was predeceased by her husband, Wai Ting Lo. The Funeral Service for So was conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Michael Eniolorunda officiating. Mrs. Rose Brassard gave the eulogy. Marlene Risling and Carmelita Swan performed during the service. The honorary pallbearers were all those in attendance. The active pallbearers were William Lo, Alan Woo, Kan Yun Guan, Tuan Wei Guan, Danny Courtenay and Lyle Holtz. Interment was held in the Northern Lights Cemetery, St. Albert, Alberta on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 2:30 P.M. with Father Al Roy officiating. Donations in memory of So may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
