Obituary of Frederick Wolfe

WOLFE ~ Frederick William Wolfe passed away at the Lady Minto Health Care Centre, Edam, Saskatchewan on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at the age of ninety-eight years. Fred was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on April 5, 1916 to Edith and Max Wolfe. Fred leaves to mourn his passing: five children: Doreen (Roland) Morin, Robert (Marilyn) Wolfe, Lawrence Wolfe (Avis Gerard), Dwayne (Anita) Wolfe and John Wolfe (Terri Steen); sixteen grandchildren: Deanna (Jamey) Bezjack, Greg Wolfe (Lynn Hughes), Nicole Wolfe, William (Emma) Wolfe, Rhonda (Darren) Neron, Bernard Wolfe, Jennifer Gerard, Kevin Gerard, Stansilawa Wolfe (Sheldon Sendecki), Cindy (Ryan) Walker, Lara (Ryan) Polak, Glen (Jamie) Wolfe, Maureen Wolfe, Ron Wolfe (Lana Olson), Bonnie Wolfe (Joel Dustan) and Daryl Wolfe; ten great grandchildren: Brady Bezjack, Dylan Bezjack, Olivia Wolfe, Malcolm Wolfe, Ashley Neron, Kaley Neron, Bo Polak, Mila Polak, Kaden Wolfe, Kyle Wolfe and Clayton Wolfe; one daughter-in-law, Czeslawa Wolfe; one sister, Doris Regnier; one sister-in-law, Mildred Wolfe; and one brother-in-law, Wes Elliott. Fred was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy in 1979; son, Dale in 2013; great-grandson, Mathew in 2004; four brothers, Harry, Bernard, Max (Dorothy) and Leonard; and sister, Jean. The Prayer Vigil for Fred was conducted from Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, Edam, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 7:30 PM. The Funeral Service for Fred was conducted from Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, Edam, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Father Peter Paase officiating. The music during the service were played by organist, Darcy deMontarnal. The Active Pallbearers were Robert Wolfe, Lawrence Wolfe, Dwayne Wolfe, Glen Wolfe, Daryl Wolfe and Roland Morin. Interment was held in the Edam Roman Catholic Cemetery, Edam, Saskatchewan. Donations in memory of Fred may be made to Lady Minto Health Care Centre. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
