Peter Archibald Behnke passed away at the St. Joseph Auxiliary Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the age of 81 years.
Peter leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife Mary; 7 children: David and Tina Behnke, Albert Behnke, Steven and Tara Behnke, Richard Behnke, Anne Behnke, Greg Merkel and Nikki Merkel; 13 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; 4 brothers: Bernard, William, Eddie and George Behnke; 3 sisters: Mary and Pat Mclaughin, Margaret Behnke and Theresa and Lorne Venance; and good friends, Christa and Shawna and their children.
Peter was born in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on March 24, 1933 to Margaret and Albert Behnke.
Donations in memory of Peter may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Charity of Choice.
