Elizabeth and I go way back to the days of TEC (Teens Encounter Christ) retreat weekends. Elizabeth was always one of the happiest, liveliest people i knew. One of my favorite memories was of my first Christmas where I would not be going home because my parents had moved away from Saskatchewan to New Brunswick. Elizabeth invited me to have a christmas supper with her family that year and I got to meet the Owens. It was a wonderful time and from then on, I knew I would be OK without my Mom and Dad for Christmas. It was some time later that year that I had been asked to come cook for a breakfast at the Newman Centre in STM college on U of S Campus. I invited Elizabeth to come help and I believe, it was there she met Frank, who was cooking and directing all us volunteers that morning. I'll never forget the fun we had cooking 'green eggs and ham'. The aluminum griddles kept turning the scrambled eggs a distinct shade of forest green on the edges.
Elizabeth, you taught me to jive, you were so much fun. Frank and Kids, i know you'll miss her and my prayers will be coming your way.
