The news was crushing last week to hear of Dwaine's sudden passing. Dwaine brought so much life into the world and was a genuine man. Nothing would stop him from carrying a conversation with anyone he met. A man who loved to know others and be helpful. We first met Dwaine when our son crashed his bicycle at Bud Miller park and Dwaine carried him to the mini golf course to help. We will cherish our memories of Dwaine and the hockey memories we share. We will keep you and Dwaine in our prayers and thoughts. God Bless!

Dear Melinda and family , I have to tell you all how lucky and privileged I feel to have known and served Dwaine daily for his morning Coke at the good old Coop ! Not a day in that time was Dwaine unhappy or to busy to stop and say "hi how's it going or what's new , what's going on ? " He always , always welcomed our new foreign workers with jokes and pokes and made them feel at home ! He was just a sincere guy who emitted happiness and kindness every where he went . We attended the celebration of life for Dwaine and we are very honoured to give each and every 44 th st coop gas bar employee a can of coke and tell them it was from Dwaine ! We will be often thinking of our " Coca Cola Angel " .........
