Mabel Stewart passed away at the Pine Island Lodge, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the age of 95 years.
Mabel was born at Pike's Peak near Maidstone, Saskatchewan on March 18, 1919 to Gudrun and Sophanias Hafstein.
Mabel leaves to mourn her passing: her daughter, Cheryl Hume; granddaughter, Chelsey (Neil) Ward; grandson, Lukas (Cassandra) Hume; two brothers-in-law: Ray (Bev) Stewart and Ian (Eileen) Stewart; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mabel was predeceased by: her parents: Sophanias and Gudrun Hafstein; husband, William Stewart; daughter, Trudy Stewart; siblings: Emily (Grant) Bell, Mindy (Annie) Hafstein, John (Florence) Hafstein, Margaret (Elwood) Burlingham and Alla (Grover) Halterman; son-in-law, Shaun Hume; and numerous other family.
Donations in Mabel's memory may be made to Pine Island Lodge.
