Obituary of Edith Kipps

KIPPS ~ Edith Mary Kipps passed away at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the age of 83 years. Edith was born in Lloydminster on October 22, 1931 to Margaret and William Adamson. Edith is survived by her loving husband of nearly 63 years, John; four children: David (Janet), Brent, Linda (Dave) Stover and Carol Griffith (Peter Jackson); 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one sister, Deanna (Lyle) Reed; and two sisters-in-law, Ruth Belsheim and Roxana Adamson. Edith was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and William Adamson; daughter, Marlene McKenzie; sister, Norma Evans and brother, Douglas Adamson. The Funeral Service for Edith was conducted from the Bethel Lutheran Church, Tulliby Lake District, Alberta on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor John Haycock officiating. The Organist was Pat Fox.Words of remembrance were given by Ernie Marshall. A scripture reading was read by Betty-Lou Gibbard. Interment was held in the Bethel Lutheran Cemetery, Tulliby Lake District, Alberta. Donations in memory of Edith may be made to the Bethel Lutheran Church or to a charity of the donors choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
