Please share a memory of Barbara to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Barbara Joy Gravelle passed away at the Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the age of 59 years. Barb (Barbie) will be lovingly remembered by her husband Mike Gravelle of 14 years, four children and five grandchildren: Brett (Melissa) Tuplin and sons Jaydn and Lukas, Tristan (Carrie) Tuplin and daughters Cadence and Tali, Chelsea (Gerard) Gravelle and son Kail, and Taryn Gravelle; mother Dorothy Schwartz (special friend Scotty Wiltermuth); one sister Linda (Larry) Fiddler and their 2 children and 2 grandchildren; special friends Nena and Krezhanna Dignomo; her dog Judy; along with the entire Gravelle Family. Barb was predeceased by her son, Colin Richard Bonnar, father, John Bonnar, and step father, Johnny Schwartz. Barbara, although small had one of the largest and strongest hearts. She was able to touch so many people's lives. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren. She loved watching her grandsons play hockey and her granddaughters sing and dance. Over all she loved to shop for them whenever she had the chance. Barb had the gift to gab, she loved to sit down with a coffee and learn about what was going on and the new gossip. She loved quilting, reading books, gardening, country music, watching curling and Judge Judy. Barb loved antiques along with collecting items, like her button collection, Christmas houses and mini tea sets. Barbara had a special relationship with her family and lots of friends. She will be missed dearly. --- God saw you getting tired When a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you And whispered come with me. You tried so hard to stay with us But your fight was all in vain. God took you in his loving arms, And freed you from your pain. If I could have one life time wish, One dream that could come true, I'd pray to God with all my heart For yesterday and you. Our family chain is broken, And nothing has been the same, But as god calls us one by one, The chain will link again. Donations in Barbara's memory may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or to a charity of the donors choice.
