Gwen and family,
My sincere condolences. I was very saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Bob at Weatherford. His sincerity, understanding and patience with all of our Weatherford team was something I will never forget. Bob was a fantastic mentor to me professionally and personally.
There was never any doubt to anyone who worked with him of how much he loved and cherished his family. He wasn't one to talk about his personal life to everyone but he didn't have to. He made it clear everyday of the strength his family gave him in how he carried and conducted himself. He will be missed.

I had the privilege of working with Bob early in my career. He helped me through several projects. I have always appreciated that mentorship and his example as a kind and service-oriented professional. If we had not moved away I know we would also likely have been friends and I might have improved my guitar playing through a similar kind of encouragement! Please accept my sincere condolences. Bob was my boss years ago while at Weatherford and we worked together closely. Bob was always pleasant, dedicated, supportive and had a outstanding ability to guide us through many tough decisions over the years.
All of us learned allot from Bob, and we are thankful for that. Most importantly Bob taught us how to deal with people and has shaped the way I have become as a leader. I aspire to be the same guiding, caring and supportive person he was.
