Obituary of William Kozoriz

BIOGRAPHY KOZORIZ ~ William "Bill" Kozoriz passed away peacefully in the Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Friday, January 14, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Bill will be sadly missed by his wife Dorothy; sons: Brian and Cindy Kozoriz, Bob and Donna Kozoriz; daughter: Barb and Clay Christiansen; grandchildren: Cash, Cayle and Zane; sisters: Helen Dzurka of Blaine Lake, Leno Yeo of Price Albert, Eva Miller of Moose Jaw as well as numerous other relatives. The funeral service was conducted from the Maidstone Legion Hall, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Ean Kasper officiating. The eulogy was read by Bob Kozoriz. The hymn sung was "One Day At A Time" accompanied on the organ by June Franks. The honorary pallbearers were Lloyd Banks, Bernard Trahan, Walter Kohuch, Rodney Marfleet, Buddy Leachman and Jack Johner. The active pallbearers were Bob Kozoriz, Brian Kozoriz, Clay Christiansen, Cash Christiansen, Tim Banks and Gord Banks. The interment was held in the Maidstone Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS We would like to thank Dr. Spangenberg, the staff at the Maidstone Hospital and the ambulance attendants. A special thank you to the wonderful staff in the dialysis unit at the Lloydminster Hospital. Thank you to Reverend Ean Kasper for a lovely service and June Franks for playing the piano. Bill would be so proud of our son Bob who gave the eulogy. Thank you to all the honorary pallbearers and active pallbearers and thank you to the Larriette catering ladies for the lovely lunch. Thank you to all our neighbours, friends and family for the beautiful flowers, cards, phone calls and food that was brought to the house. Thank you for the donations we received, they will go to the Maidstone Hospital. Thank you to McCaw Funeral Service for your care and compassion in administering Bill's funeral arrangements. We truly appreciate all who have made this time easier for the family.
