Obituary of Ruth May Pauline Schempp (Jesse)

Ruth May Pauline Schempp (Jesse) passed away at the Maidstone Health Complex, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Monday, May 25, 2015 at the age of 86 years. Ruth leaves to mourn her passing: three children: Carolin (Paul) Donovan of Lashburn, Saskatchewan, Keith (Glenda) Schempp of Maidstone, Saskatchewan and Gail (Brian) Swanson of Spruce Grove, Alberta; twenty-one grandchildren: Troy (Michelle) Donovan, Jill (Scott) Ady, Brett (Anne) Donovan, Hilary Stratton, Matthew (Kahleigh) Donovan, Rebecca (Calvin) Prosser, Kirk (Elaine) Schempp, Shawn (Tracy) Schempp, Carrie (Cory) Arlett, Lisa (Christopher) Gerlinsky, Raewyn (Tyler) Fritz, Jonathan (Melanie) Schempp, Steven Rutley, Timothy Rutley, Sarah Schempp (Morgan), Luke Schempp, Jessica Schempp, Carly McDonald, Darcie Schempp, Judy (Corey) Valiquette and Mikel Swanson; forty-four great grandchildren: Ryan, Jacquie, Brendan, Natasha and Destiny Donovan, Courtney Ady (Fiancé Kyle), Shelby, Jordan, Bradly, Emily, Nicole and Devon Donovan, Heidi and Aden Stratton, Mackenzie and Mollie Donovan, Slade Prosser, JB and James McDonald, Dean and Dylan Blyth, Lincoln and Addison Valiquette, Wyatt, Koy, Dustin, Kealy-Ann, Justus and Willow Schempp, Emma, Cash and Mackenzie Schempp, Hannah, Sydney and Adam Gerlinsky, Karlem, Benjamin and Gwendalyn Fritz, Emmitt, Noah, Parker and Amber Schempp, Tavin and Laine Schempp. Ruth was predeceased by her parents, Rudolph and Carolina Brausse; first husband, Edward Schempp; second husband, John Jesse; infant son, Joseph Schempp; grandson-in-law, Leslie Stratton as well as 11 siblings. Donations in memory of Ruth may be made to the Pine Island Lodge Activities Program.
