We have many memories of Charlie and Rose from years ago, heping with the farm work. I was very young but remember the excitement when your family would arrive at our farm,. My mother remembers how good a person Charlie was and for sure his big smile. She was happy to have an occassional visit with Rose in Lloydminster in later years. We send our prayers and condolences. Margaret Wheat from Marwayne and Pat (Wheat) Carey from Vermilion.

Our thoughts are with each and everyone of you in your time of sadness.I have such fond memories of you Mom and Dad. Charlie always had the biggest smile, the whitest teeth and a twinkle in his eyes. He teased us all and we each had a special knickname,(like hounddog) Those were the great times at Uncle Glen and Auntie Vesta's farm. Cherish your special memories. My thoughts will be with you today and I am sorry I am not able to make the funeral. Bev

My Dearest old Buddy (The Skunk). Just would like to pass on to you all my deepest condolences. Many fond and wonderful memories come to mind at this time. The Old Skunk was a huge part of my early years with all the hours in the spring heading out with Peanuts and Spike to hunt rats and beaver in the many sloughs. Then the skining and stretching and Charlie getting Rose to cook the odd beaver leg for me to try. The time spent on the rack with Charlie in control of Molly and Dan either feeding the cows or hauling feed and in the barn before and afterwards. Then playing crib or double solitar on cards with all the spots wore off. Any how guys know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Wish I was home to be there and catch up with everyone. However I am away at work in Houston and cannot be there. Blair, Pam Chloe and Hannah Henry
