I was Laurel Erickson's sister in law as she was married to my brother Nicco. Sadly, Laurel passed away but we loved her and I well remember her mentioning the Lawrence family in her book of memories so I thought I would quote what she wrote in hopes the family knows how well they were loved. Dear Lawrence family, please accept my sympathy and please know that your goodness was well received by one girl many years ago. I am so sorry for your loss and I hope Kathleen and Laurel can share tea again in the heavens.
" Grant Lawrence and all his family always treated me with the greatest love and kindness. I spent many happy times with them on the family home place. You could not have asked for finer, more genuine people. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence were not the least judgmental and their home was always open to everyone, especially the lonely or the forgotten. What a true pleasure to have known such classy, decent Christian people."

Jay and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Kathy's passing she was an amazing woman. Death is never easy, but I can promise you that it does get a little easier as the days move forward.

I was a coworker of Kathy's many years ago. I have only fond memories of Kathy, she was a lovely, very patient lady, who had a beautiful smile and kind heart. I'm deeply saddened by the news of her passing, my heart felt condolences to you and your family Jay. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dear Jay, Lee,Glenn Angelina and family
How saddened we were to hear of Kathy's untimely passing. We understand she endured much pain as she tried hard to fight for you all and beat the disease. She has earned her peace and reward . In the many years I knew and worked with Kathy I don't believe I ever remember her anything but kind and patient with staff and clients alike . She will be missed by all. She will remain a fond memory to always kept in your hearts and the many of us who regarded her as ' friend' . Unfortunately due to previous commitments we will be unable to attend the service Monday, but you all will be in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace dear lady . Jay and family, very sorry for your loss. I have known Kathy for a number of years as a co worker. She was very vibrant and loyal to her career at CIBC,. Had some very enjoyable times with her and will miss her.
