PERKINS ~ Amy Elizabeth Perkins passed away at Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the age of 97 years.
Amy leaves to mourn her passing: three daughters: Ruby (Ted) Rowley, Sharon (Dennis) Schultz and Nola (Jim) Buzuk; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and sister, Rachel Beckett.
Amy was predeceased by her husband, Olta Perkins; brother, Tom Halstead; and sister, Edna Halstead.
The Funeral Service for Amy was conducted from St. John’s Anglican Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Canon Michael Stonhouse officiating.
Shannon Ogilvie gave the eulogy.
The hymns sung were, “Just As I Am” and “Amazing Grace” accompanied by organist, Pat Skinner.
The active pallbearers were Dion Schultz, Trent Schultz, Vince Buzuk, Shane Rowley, Clint Buzuk and Marty Person.
Interment was held in the Lloydminster City Cemetery, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan.
Donations in memory of Amy Perkins may be made to Charity of Choice.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
