Obituary of Knute Arthur Tweten

TWETEN ~ Knute Arthur Tweten passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the age of 94 years. Knute leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife: Lois Hippe-Tweten; daughter, Judy (Mike) Jovanovic; Lois' children: Dennis (Anna) Miller, Fred (Janet) Miller, Dan (Nicole) Hippe, Larry (Connie) Guhl and Harold (Katherine) Hippe; sister: Sylvia (Murdo) MacDonald; and numerous other relatives. Knute was predeceased by his daughter Shelly; son Terry; first wife Muriel, and second wife Marge. A Private Family Interment was held at the Lloydminster City Cemetery, Lloydminster Saskatchewan, with Muriel Foster officiating. The urn bearers were Landon Miller and Bailey Miller. A Memorial Luncheon for Knute was held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Andrew Walker Wing, Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:00 am. Donations may be made in memory of Knute to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund or to a Charity of the Donors Choice. McCaw Funeral Service, of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS Knute’s family wish to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the Lloydminster Hospital for their compassionate care given to Knute. Thanks to the ambulance attendants who responded so quickly and to Home Care who provided care so that Knute was able to be at home. Special thanks to Muriel Foster for the beautiful graveside service and to Bailey and Landon, the Urn Bearers. A big thank you to the Royal Purple ladies for the lovely luncheon, we are forever grateful. Thank you to McCaw Funeral Service and staff for their professionalism during the funeral arrangements. In Lieu of sending out“Thank You” cards for flowers, donations, food, phone calls and visits; a donation will be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund in Knute’s Memory. Lois and Family Judy
