Obituary of Neil Franklin Sloan

SLOAN ~ Neil Franklin Sloan passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the age of 61 years. Neil leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife of 39 years, Rita Sloan; two sons: Jason Sloan (Erin Lindsay) and Shawn Sloan; brother, Lawrence (Fay) Sloan of Glaslyn, SK; one grand-daughter: Erica Carbonnell of Edmonton, AB; four sisters: Doreen (Jake) Heibert of Mesa, AZ, Delores (Don) McKay of Kamloops, BC, Dorothy (Paul) Bruynooghe of North Battleford, SK and Ella Mae (Vern) Millard of Livelong, SK; father-in-law, Clayton Foulds of Glaslyn, SK; four brothers-in-law: Dale (Karen) Foulds of Vermilion, AB, Milton (Donna) Foulds of Glaslyn, SK, Lloyd (Irene) Foulds of Meota, SK and Ed Goll of Glaslyn, SK; two sisters-in-law: Cheryle (Paul) Fonda of Red Deer, AB and Vivian (Matt) Burgess of Glaslyn, SK; uncle, Walter Opperman of Mervin, SK; two aunts: Joyce Opperman of Mervin, SK and Georgina (Clarence) Pilling of Mervin, SK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Neil was predeceased by: his parents: Raymond and Myrtle Sloan; brother, Larry Sloan; two sisters-in-law, Elaine Sloan and Ferne Goll; and mother-in-law, Olive Foulds. Donations in memory of Neil Sloan may be made to Saskatchewan Abilities Centre, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Charity of Choice. McCaw Funeral Service, of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
