Kenneth Fredrick Helm passed away in The Lloydminster Hospital on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the age of 71 years. Ken is survived by Lynn; son Chad (Jessica) Helm and their son Nicholas of Redlands, California; daughter: Vanessa (Darcy)Driedger and their children: Grace, Hazel and Nate of Medstead, Saskatchewan; son Shane (Karla) Helm and their children: Dylan, Quintin, Ava and Keira of Okotoks, Alberta. His brother Norman (Vicki) Helm; his sister: Ruth (Don) Whiting; Nieces Brenda Lindsay (Richard); Jennifer (Sean) Wakulehyk; Nephews: Brent (Seanna) Helm; Barry, Bradley (Kate) Helm; Jason Whiting. Brother-in-law: Dave (Paulette) Delainey and their children: Natalie(Al) Conquegood, Arlene (Gerard) Osicki, Duane (Tracy) Delainey; Brother-in-law: Dale (Sarah) Delainey and their children Lorelei (Kevin) Heibert, Jason (Audrey) Delainey and Tammy (Dwayne) Delainey; Special Cousins: Ray and Karen Zeigler and numerous great nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by: his father Ernie Helm in 1990 and his mother Marie Helm in 2001; as well as his father-in-law Fred Delainey in 1966 and mother-in-law Ann Delainey in 2011; and nephew Calvin Delainey in 1996 and niece Charmaine Delainey in 1968. The funeral service was conducted from The First Baptist Church, Lloydminster on Monday, January 4, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. Interment followed at The Lloydminster City Cemetery. Donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
