To Stan"s Family
We are in the USA at present but upon talking to Dad and Mom we heard of Stan"s passing. We knew he wasn"t well but didn"t realize the severity of his situation. Please except our sincere sympathy and know that we will all miss this gentle soul. We got to know Stan from all the time he spent with Dad horseshoeing He held a special place in our hearts and if we had to describe him in a couple of words it would be "a true loyal gentleman!' Thinking and praying for comfort and peace for you all.
Sincerely Martin and Catherine

Sorry to hear about Stan's passing, he was such a nice man. So glad we got to have a visit with all of you in your suite when Eva was living in Hemstock. We shared some old photos and told stories about the 50's. Also, Alwyn and Eva came with you folks to our place in Calgary quite a few years ago.
Family ties go away back as "Vern" talked about being at your place threshing when Stan was a young boy.
We are currently in Arizona staying at Denis and Vivian's place, so won't be able to make the service. They get back next week, so we head home after that.
Hope all goes well with the service, and things sort themselves out without any hassle.
Regards,
Joan and Chane

Dear Sherman, Elsie and Family, Bob & I send our deepest condolences to you at this very sad time. Growing up only a few miles from Stan I came to know him as a quiet, sincere, polite country gentleman; always there should help be needed. I needed to call upon Sherman and Stan many times for help at the farm after Dad passed away. Stan remarked once to me "are you sure Dorothy you know what you're doing"! He gave that little smirk as I assured him I didn't have a clue but was giving it all I had. There are not many gentlemen like him; the world has lost a true friend. Our thoughts and prayers will be with all the Djuff families on Friday; prior engagements don't allow us to be with you but our hearts will be.
Dorothy & Bob Lowrie

Deepest condolences to Sherman, Elsie and all of the Djuff family.
So very sorry to hear this - Kristine let us know. As one of the Johnson Girls growing up nearby, Stanley (and Sherman & all of the Djuff brothers) were like extra 'uncles' to all of us. He had a great life and leaves wonderful memories for all who knew him.
Godspeed, Stanley.
