Obituary of Joseph Laboucane

Joseph Laboucane passed away in Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster Saskatchewan on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the age of 76 years. Joseph leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Edith; daughters: Wanda Trotchie (Richard Behm), Ruby Stanley (Lloyd Stanley), Roxanne Laboucane (Wayne Steinke) and Pearl Naistus (late Joseph Naistus); sons: Miles Trotchie (Val Newkirk), Vance Laboucane (Michelle Suvee) and James Laboucane (Amiee Flett); brothers: Douglas Laboucane (Clara Laboucane) and Leo Laboucane; sisters: Emma Cotter (Val Cotter), Patsy Dumont (late husband, Lorne Dumont), Darlene Fox and Marie Doucet as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren. Joseph was pre-deceased by his parents, Eva Parenteau and Henry Laboucane, brothers, Charlie Laboucane, Jerry Laboucane (Rena Laboucane), Pat Laboucane and Billy Laboucane and sister, June Ryall (Ken Ryall). A Prayer Vigil for Joseph will be held at the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service for Joseph will be conducted from the St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, February 26 2016 at 2:00 PM. Donations in memory of Joseph may be made to the donor’s charity of choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
