Paul's life was so full for being cut so short. Here in Florida, where He and Sharon loved to spend the winter, he kept a very busy schedule. Golfing, bowling, swimming, biking, card games and just hanging out and sharing stories over beers. We live here full time and always looked forward to time spent with the Dobers. Paul will be remembered and missed. We await Sharon's return where she will continue their tradition to enjoy Florida's winters.

Sharon and family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Paul. It was my privilege to work with Paul when I joined HFD in 1988, but also as part of the negotiation team during the first amalgamated contract negotiations where the there was Paul (P1), Paul Boyle (P2) and myself (P3). The numbers were do the lawyers could keep track of us
Paul was a passionate advocate for the union and the firefighters. I was just in Truro for another event and the members of the local there spoke very highly of Paul and the assistance he provided. They too were deeply saddened by his passing. May you all take solace and strength from your memories and all of these who respected him.

How do we say goodbye to a great friend? If I did not remember the laughs, the beach trips, the singing(?) and the caring and love shown to Mike Markus Kate and I, it would be easy. The hard part is trying to forget, and that's quite alright.....My buddy Sharon, you know what they say. 'Behind every great man there you were. Only you could have handled that job. Enjoyed our every trip and sale ventures. Love to all ! See you in the East soon.
