John Dow passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the age of 91 years.
John leaves to mourn his passing: his second wife: Joan Dow (Purdon) living separately for several years; son: Glen Dow; daughters: Jane (Ewen) Lawrence, Peggy (Frank) Heuven and Joan Harder; son-in-law: Philip Kwong; grandchildren: Jill (Greg Charlie), Amy (Brant Shaw), Megan (Doug Hartwell), Nathan Lawrence (Christy), Aden Kwong (Brittany Strand), Aaron Kwong, Samantha Friske, Jared Friske (Kendell McEwen), Colin Heuven and Ryan Heuven; great-grandchildren: Dustin Charlie, Nigel Charlie, Dylan Charlie, Rhett Shaw, Palmer Hartwell and Brooks Hartwell; sisters: Barbara Graham, Isabella Beasley and Joyce Evans; sisters-in-law: Margaret Dow, Marcia Dow and Gladys Dow; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
John was predeceased by: his parents: John and Sarah Dow; wife: Eileen Dow; daughter: Ann Kwong; sister: Cecelia Booth; and brothers: Bert Dow, Willard Dow and Fred Dow.
The Funeral Service for John will be conducted from the Knox Presbyterian Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 10:30 AM with Reverend Charlie McNeil officiating.
Donations can be made to the Lloydminster Health Foundation specifically for Palliative Home Care or to the charity of the donors choice.
