My sincere sympathy to you Garth and Melissa and families your dad was such a kind hearted man he was my lunch buddy for quite a few years when I worked at the Husky TFlags Battery. I could always count on big Gerry to come and say hey Tracy let's go for lunch and away we would go and be darned if he would let me buy I had to sneak up to the till without him knowing I always enjoyed our conversations he was a sweet man he always talked about both of you and your successes I was very honored to know him. I even enjoyed different Husky events and would have the opportunity to get in a visit with him and your mom. Again my deepest sympathy to you and your families!!

To Gerry's family,
I was so saddened to learn of Gerry's passing. I said a prayer and thanked him for his years of friendship and laughter. When talking to Gerry, I always found myself smiling. What a kind, generous, caring and jovial man. We have lost a good one. May he rest in peace with his beloved Marlene. My thoughts and prayers are with Gerry's family and friends.

My husband is a pipe fitter and i am an insulator. Over the years we both have had the pleasure of working for Gerry. I will never forget swimming in his coveralls because I left mine at the shop. He lent me his to save my butt from getting chewed out. we had a good laugh at how big they where. he always greeted me with a smile and always had time to say hello out in public. I remember running into Gerry at superstore,. He was walking all hunched over because he had his little granddaughter hanging onto his finger. nothimg but a smile on his face. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. My prayers to all of his family.
