I'm very sorry to hear of Lorne's passing. My sympathy goes out to all of the Paslawski family. I recall the good times we had in our youth playing hockey and baseball in and around Glidden. Lorne was an excellent athlete and an even greater person.

Lorne was a great friend. We met in 1980 at Dome Petroleum. Lorne was a great coach and mentor during those years providing much needed advice and helping me grow. During those years we called him Mr. Chips as he completed some office renos within the Dome Morgan field office. Great carpenter. God speed Lorne.

Our deepest sympathy to the Paslawski family on the passing of Lawrence. I have many great memories
of Lawrence during our early years as I played hockey and high school football with him. I will always remember
his great athletic ability to compete, he was a great teammate who had a tremendous work ethic and played with passion. He was a good friend from Glidden and I will always remember his laugh as we rode the bus to school together for years. You will be missed Lawrence.
We pray that God will give the family strength at this most difficult time.

I am deeply saddened that Lorne has left us, and left so early in his life. In some ways I can't imagine how you are feeling and yet I do as in many ways we all grew up as brothers. We had so many laughs, card games, and meals together that we are all family. I am sorry I am not able to be a part of today's celebration of Lorne's life but I know there will be a few childhood stories that will bring a smile to everyone, so In that I am there with you.
