Gordon Wesley Brown passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Friday, August 19, 2016 at the age of 84 years.
Gordon leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 61 years, Betty; children Miles (Lorrie) Brown, Merv (Lori) Brown, Darrel Brown, and Pam Schacher; eleven grandchildren: Donald, Sabrina, Kyle, Dylan, Amy, Ardra, Jodi, Kristin, Kelsey, Ryan and Kade; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Gale; brother, Ken (Mary) Brown; and many other family and friends.
Gordon was predeceased by his mother and father, William and Olive Brown; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Aileen and Gunvik Ruud; siblings: Allan, Marion, Ronnie, Grace, Joyce, Dorothy; son-in-law: Kelly Schacher.
The memorial service for Gordon will be conducted from the Legacy Center, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 1:00PM with Archdeacon Michael Stonhouse officiating. Lunch will immediately follow the service.
Donations in memory of Gordon may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Kidney Foundation of Canada or Charity of Choice.
