i had the pleasure to make Fred's acquaintance in Costa Rica. He was always a stand up guy, someone who could be counted on. He was a pleasure to spend time with and I enjoyed talking to him about his job, experiences and travels. He will be missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting Fred in Costa Rica many years ago and we became very good friends. I was shocked to hear about Fred's passing as after moving to Colombia I had not seen him for quite sometime but we still managed to keep in touch. I will never forget Fred and all the laugh's we had and that thick Canadian accent that I had not heard since living in Canada. He came across as a "tough guy" but if you knew him as a friend he was a very kind thoughtful person! Cheers FRED and as you would say... Just givvvver eh!!!!
