Its almost going to be 1 year ...still up in the air with my feeling about u being gone ...it was a hard Christmas and summer...i spend Christmas and New Year's with u the other year .. me and kids ...when I needed to go and visit this summer it was hard because I only went to ur house ..to visit or help u ..u were always there for me and my kids ..i thank u so much for all u done for me and my kids.. not a day goes by that ur memory isn't in it ..u enjoyed life so much..u had so much love for all ..i miss u so much my auntie ETHEL...u r now with my mom ur sister and mosom and kokom and Peggy and pete ..u live such a AWESOME filled life ..u told me to start small on things and eventually things will fall in to place ..it s was hard and still is .. I thank u for the letters u would write me and leave on kitchen table telling me u loved me ...and i. So thankful and blessed how close we were u were my second mom and the one who loved me and my kids like my mom did ..thank u so much Ethel for ur love ..memorys ..

My dear sister, I'm writing this at 1:03 in the morning, this would not be too late for you and I. We often sit up past midnight visiting, enjoying a cup of tea. I'm feeling very lonely this evening my dear Sis. The last time I saw you was Saturday which was 3 days before you departed from us. I wish I could have stayed for a few more days. I am sorry to hear about Ethel passing. I am sad that I didn't get to talk to her before she took ill. I was always thinking of her, being so sad with Peter (my bother) passing and then with Peggy passing. I guess she heard them calling and decided to join them. Now they are all together and at peace as a family. Missing them all dearly.

My condolences to Ethel's family. I knew Ethel nearly 60 years ago growing up in Onion Lake. I haven't seen much of her recently, but every time I heard of her, she was doing something for somebody. In all those years I never heard one person utter an unkind word about Ethel. Hardworking and kind, she was liked and respected by all the people who knew her.

Here I am a fragile bud, waiting for the warming spring.
Sitting alone out on my branch, listening to the sweet birds sing.
As the river runs, and the sun soon comes, I surrender my covered soul.
Unfolding my petals, I blossom I grow, I brighten up the cold.
Fearlessly strong, yet gentle and calm,I unfold; I surrender.
My petals dance down ,calm and free, now floating upon the river.
Once as a bud I grew, I bloomed, creating a beautiful treasure.
With my final bloom I set free, I float down with grace, giving all time to remember.
Embraced by the river,I am one, I let go,
Knowing now I am home and not ever alone.

My deepest condolences to the family and beloved friends of Ethel. She was a gracious lady, who always had time to stop for a little visit and a smile. I have known Ethel for nearly 30 years and I will miss her presence dearly. I take comfort that she is with Peggy and Pete again and I'm sure they are all rejoicing in their heavenly home together. Rest in Peace, Ethel, Pete and Peggy-Lee. Thanks for the friendship.
