My consolences to Stan and family. I worked with Maureen in Fort St John and always remembered how nice Stan and Maureen were. Maureen had such a nice spirit. I knew they had a place in Kitscoty area and did visit once. I was wondering if they were still there when I came upon the obituary. Always remember the positives!

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to Stan and the children--Maureen was a great lady who will be dearly missed. She was simply a joy to be around.
I had the pleasure of meeting her and Stan in 1955/56 when we all lived in the Dowell camp in Drayton Valley, AB. My mom and her became great friends.

I am so sorry to hear about Maureen. Stan and Maureen were a huge part of my life when I was growing up. It was one of the few long drives we as kids looked forward to. Sitting around the campfire singing and eating are some of the best memories I have. She will be deeply missed. By the way, whoever picked her picture did an excellent job. It captures the beauty of her person and her spirit.

Stan and Families. My sincere sympathy on your loss. Maureen always sought me out in later years always at funerals to tell me how much my parents ( Ken and Margaret Challenger nee Taylor ) meant to her and that our families has so much in common as her kids and us girls were so similar in ages and that it was a great bond between herself and my Mom as they were raising their families. Cherish your memories and celebrate a life well lived and a wonderful lady.

Stan and all the Families
I am so sad to read of Maureen's passing. Fond memories of Maureen and you, as well, Stan, go back to when you owned the Furness Trailer Court. Rent nights when everyone gathered in the little office building on rent night were always an event to look forward to. Maureen always brought fantastic cakes or cookies to share with everyone and my favourite recipe is the Zucchini cake she gave me. Not only did she bring me the recipe, but also a zucchini the size needed for the recipe. She made a point of telling me it was her daughter-in-law's recipe. Stan, you and Maureen have remained good friends of our family and so many others all the years. May your wonderful memories of the years you had with her bring you strength.
