Roy, Brenda and families. I was saddened to hear of your Mom's death. The time I spent boarding with your parents in 1967 through to 1969 are etched so very fondly in my memory. Your Mom was a beautiful lady. She was in every way a second mother to me. Virgil and I were married in their living room on August 29, 1969. She made the wedding cake, provided the supper and opened her home to our friends and family with love. Later when I was compelled to stay in Lloydminster awaiting the birth of our first son -- she was there again. As it is so much in this life, I did not get to see her as often as I would have liked, but know that I loved her deeply. I pray for your comfort and strength during this sad time. May God and your memories see you through.
