Our prayers are especially for her children and grandchildren. My sincere condolences to the family. A great loss of such a beautiful and talented person. It was an honour and joy to sing in her choir and share her love of music at St Anthony's. Always encouraging and smiling even if songs did not go quite as planned.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
A limb has fallen from the family tree that says,
Grieve not for me, Remember the best times, the laughter, the Songs, the good life I lived while I was strong.

So sorry to hear of Cis's passing. Growing up I always looked forward from hearing from my "Uncle" Fred and "Auntie" Cis. I still share with my kids some of the gifts sent to me from them for Christmas and birthdays growing up.
To Vance, Verna, Ivan and the rest of the family, my deepest sympathies. Thoughts and prayers with you all.

Dear children and family,
Our hearts are grieving at your great loss...Cis was always the most loving example, always thoughtful, gentle and kind, and so too you've grown secure in the love of your parents Cis and Fred.
We shared her gentleness, patience and love of her family, her cousins and many friends, and her gift of music. She was God's gift and we treasured her. May she rest in peace.

Farewell, Cis. Thank you for wonderful music leadership in your Yellowknife years where we became friends... the musicals, the parties, the sacred... you gave your gift generously. You gave also the beautiful gift of hospitality... how many cups and tea? How many pirogies and turkeys did we share? Rest well with your dear Fred. Fly on the wings of love.
Much love to all the Nakonechnys.
