Obituary of Edna Barstad

Edna Doris Selma Barstad passed away at Parkview Extended Care, Elk Point, Alberta on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the age of 88 years.

Edna will be sadly missed by her children: Duane and Marie Barstad of Heinsburg, Judy and Ralph Bowman of Heinsburg, Karen and Ron Sawchuk of Stony Plain; seven grandchildren, Kari (Chris) Johnston, Lori (Wade) Poitras, Arden (Tami) Barstad, Gary (Buena) Bowman, Travis (Lori) Bowman, Melissa Sawchuk (Kurt Hall), Brittany (Colten) Brockman; great grandchildren: Garrett Johnston, Brett Johnston, Chandler Johnston, Samantha Johnston, Rachel Johnston, Chad Poitras, Jenna Poitras, Lee Barstad, Aiden Barstad, Eric Bowman, Rylan Bowman, Kason Bowman, Aliyah Bowman, Cole Bowman, Matthew Bowman, Logan Hall and Bethany Brockman; her brother Wayne Kinshella and family; her sister in law, Doris Gunderson; and numerous other relatives.

Edna was predeceased by; her husband, Arnold; her parents, John and Thelma Kinshella; brother, Leo and two sisters-in-law, Mary Kinshella, Judy Kinshella.

The funeral service for Edna will be conducted from the Heinsburg Community Hall, Heinsburg, Alberta on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M.

Donations in memory of Edna may be made to the Pioneer Cemetery.
