Dear Bobi, Bob and family, We are so sorry to hear about Millie. She was one of a kind, there was no doubt about that. She adored her family, her friends and community. I remember well her very positive attitude and her amazing sense of humour. I know you will all miss her greatly. Memories will keep her near. No matter how much time goes by they do not dim. They are available at a moments notice, to comfort, console and especially to cheer you up. Thinking of you all with our most sincere condolences.

To the Carruthers family,
Where to begin.... Such an awesome lady who knew the true meaning of being a Christian. Fun times in the kitchen, making posters together, giving me the Lashburn history lesson, helping with Legion and being a friend. I am in the Yukon and will miss the celebration of her wonderful life but I know I have so many memories. May you feel the love and compassion of Heavenly Father and friends as you lay your beautiful mother to be with her " knight in shining armour". Love and prayers.

I have so many fond memories of being a student in her classroom - especially her contagious passion for good literature.
Your Mum was a remarkable woman who gave much of herself, and worked hard for good things. She was a beautiful golden thread in the tapestry of the community.
I offer my condolences, as well as my mother’s (Mildred Reinhart) on your loss.

The family of the late Mildred Carruthers
My deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mom. She definitely had an impact in the Lashburn community. I didn't have her for a teacher, but have heard many good comments from other students of hers. I know she was interested in many things from school to acting to music, and more. Remember the good times you shared!!!Praying for you all.
