Obituary of Jacob "Jack" Johner

 Jacob “Jack” Johner passed away at the Pine Island Lodge, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the age of 95 years.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Irene; his children: Carol (Don) Hamelin, David (Arlinda), and Gary (Karin); 11 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter; 2 sisters: Eva Poulin and Irene Roblin; sisters in law: Dot Myers (in England), June Jahner (in Unity) and Rose Johner (in Edmonton); and many nieces and nephews.

Jack was predeceased by his parents Mike and Frances Johner; brothers Pete, John, Lawrence and Mike; sisters Phyllis, Ann and Doris; and one grandson Jaron Johner.

The Prayer Vigil for Jack will be held at the Maidstone Catholic Church, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 8:00 PM.

The Funeral Service for Jack will be conducted from the Maidstone Legion Hall, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 10:45 AM.

Donations in memory of Jack may be made to the Maidstone Pine Island Lodge (Comfort Care Fund).
