Dear Erdine and Family,
It is with deep sadness that we extend our condolences in Jack's passing. I have many fond memories of Uncle Jack. Whether it was herding cattle, taking pigs to the market, how to butcher beef or how you used steam to extract oil, Uncle Jack always had time to answer my questions, He had this grin that always reminded me of Granddad. I will miss him.

Jack's passing coming as such a surprise never really gives one the words that are required at times like these. We met and grew up together from grade 12 onwards. We played hard together and worked hard together and I had presumed we would tell lies together for many years to come. Jack was much loved and we will miss his laugh...he was a good man!

I wish to pass on my condolences on Jack’s passing. Jack & I worked at the Empire Locker plant in Lloydminster when we were young kids and of course hung around in the same crowd back then. Jack was a great fellow and we always had fun together at our job and socially. I moved away from home in 1969 but never forgot all the great people that stayed. Great memories to hold on to.
