Adrian Tervoort posted a condolence

I hereby send my condolences to the family of Wilma Hardcastle, born Terpstra. For me there was a kind of tradition that we received mail from Canada a little before Xmas and in about the same time my mother Hilly Tervoort, born Terpstra, sent a letter to Edam in Canada to discuss the happenings of that year. In the 90s Y went to Cornwall, Ont. To study navigation systems for aviation at the TCTI institute. At that time I had contact with Wilma via Telephone. I tried to travel (in December) into the direction of Edam but due to the weather I got stuck before reaching Thunder Bay. After my mother died (2001) I tried to continue the tradition and exchanged several Xmas letters with Canada written by Wilma. At a certain point the letters became shorter and later the flow stopped. At that time I lost contact with Wilma. I am very gratefully that Tommy Terpstra has contacted me to give the possibility to send my condolences to the family. I wish you much strength with the mourning process. Adrian Tervoort, Son of Hilly Tervoort-Terpstra
