Obituary of Ruth Maylor

Ruth Maylor (nee Schwartz) passed away peacefully at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Facility, November 24, 2017 at the age of 91. Ruth Florence was born May 22, 1926, the second daughter of Henry and Martha Schwartz of Hitchcock, Saskatchewan.

Ruth is survived by: her husband of 8 years, Bill Maylor; 3 daughters, Lynda (Harvey) Podgurny of High River, Alberta, Patricia Sleeman of Edmonton, Alberta and Maxine (David)  Mitchell  of Maidstone, Saskatchewan; one son, Richard (Nancy) Hewson of Carvel, Alberta; 8 grandchildren, Natasha (Cody) Lockrem, Harvest (Lindsae) Johnston, Laura Sleeman (Yonas), Ryan (Hannee) Sleeman, Dallas Sleeman (Rob)Evan (Jackie) Mitchell, Andrew Mitchell (Mila) Tara Mitchell (William); and 7 great grand children, Jaxom and Danny Lockrem, Arik and Aidan Sleeman, Amon Gebreal and Seth and Levi Johnston.

Ruth was predeceased by: first husband, George Hewson in 1979; second husband, Willie Worman in 1998; her brother, Harold Schwartz and her sister Esther Ferguson.

The memorial service for Ruth will be conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM.
