Obituary of Dora Matthews

Dora Matthews passed away at the Vermilion Health Centre on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the age of 89 years.

Dora is survived by: her loving husband of 71 years, Vernon; her daughters, Esther (Russell) Corrigan, Verna (Glen) Johnston, Charlotte (Albert) O’Hare,; her sons, Elmer (Danette) Matthews and Edwin (Bonnie) Matthews; her grandchildren, Charleen Herle, Heather Graham, Trisha McLaren, Todd Johnston, Glenda Williams, Greg O’Hare, Joni Bahm, Crystal Hawryluk, Travis Matthews, Melissa Schafer, Vanessa Matthews and Joshua Matthews; her twenty great grandchildren; her one sister, Ruth Reimer; her sisters-in-law, Rose Matthews and Ruby (Merv) Goodman; numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Dora will be held on December 18 at 2:00 PM from the Kistcoty Community Church.

Donations in memory of Dora may be made to the Friends of Vermilion Health Center Long Term Care.
