As I live on the other side of the world, I only came to know of Debbie's passing this morning through a longstanding family friend from Lloyd. On behalf of the family of the late Mayson and Kamalini Abraham, I extend condolences to the Jack and Weir families for this loss.
I grew up with Debbie - Grace United Church, Joy Singers, school bands and all sorts of music festivals. We played trumpet duets together many times from childhood through to young adulthood, and I was always proud to be #2, if she was #1. I am sure that she will always be #1 in the hearts and minds of all those that she touched.
I still have fond memories of playing "To God Be the Glory" with her on Sunday mornings. I am sure she was received in heaven with plenty of fanfare.

Heaven has truly gained an angel. Deb was such an amazing person and lived her earthy life so full. I have fond memories of us playing hockey so many years ago and having great chats about many things going on in our lives. She truly was a family gal and loved all of you so very much. Our last great 'life' chat was this spring. As always, she told me how it was and how it should be! I loved her spunk and thirst for life. She was a true warrior and will remain a warrior with wings.

Loosing Debbie is immeasurable. We are so grateful to have had her in our lives. She welcomed us into the community 26 years ago with open arms and has been a loving caring friend ever since.
