I was shocked when I heard of Roy's passing, I will miss his gentle personality and his singing. It was an honour to sing with him over the years.

On behalf of the Samoyed Association of Canada, we will miss Roy and all the work he did with our club. His most recent effort was being part of a team to update our Constitution and Bylaws for the first time in 40 years. Roy will be missed for his dedication, his knowledge and his commitment as a life member of our club. Our hearts are with Marilyn and his family in this time of loss. May your memories be a comfort to you and know that he is watching over you. Condolences from the Samoyed Association of Canada

A privilege to have known Roy and to have worked with him for close to 10 years at the Lloycminster School Dividion. He taught me a lot about building and facilities, and dogs, too. A teacher, a friend, a committed employee and a gentleman. My condolences to his family.
Sincerely,
Judy Allen

Both Kevin and I had the opportunity to work as part of the Lloydminster Public School Division while Roy was there. He was in and out of our schools so many times. Always moving quickly and a solution in hand! We were very saddened to hear of his passing. Thoughts are with your family during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Kevin and Lana Lane

I was so sad to be told that Roy had passed, we last had a laugh and a joke together at ASET's past presidents dinner here in Calgary last October.
Roy and I volunteered and served on council for the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET) back in the 90's and onward into the new millennium.
Roy was dedicated to furthering the professional practice of technologists and did much to make the Alberta two Associations (ASET & APEGA) one Act a reality.
I would like to tell Roy's family that it was my privilege to have known Roy and that they can be so very proud of what Roy did in his professional life, especially selfless hours volunteering for our Association. He certainly left our profession in better shape than when he first became a member of ASET.
David Merralls R.E.T (ASET Past President 2010/11)

Roy will always be remembered by his friends and colleagues at ASET. He was a Past President, and a board member and Past President of the scholarship foundation.A leader, a gentleman, a true friend, Roy was characterised by his commitment to his profession, and was a man of principle. He believed in doing what's right. A rare quality. He was a solid friend to me, and I will miss him.

Ya know when you go to someone for help or advice and they say “I’m not quit sure, but I know a guy who has the answer”...... well Roy Clark was my guy. I met Roy in the early years of my apprenticeship and we clicked right away. He quickly became my mentor and let lean on him for advice anytime I needed. No matter how busy he was, he always took the time to advise me. He helped me start my business, and years later I had the honour of him working for me. He was my ‘Daytime Dad’. It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to my mentor and one of the most genuine men I have ever known. Rest In Peace Roy, I will miss you always.
