Dear Vera & family,
Doug is rejoicing in heaven and as a family your hearts are broken and we are so sad for your loss.
Doug did amazing on his journey with Parkinson's never complaining and being able to do so much for others despite this adversity.
We are not there today in body but we are in our hearts thinking of each one of you and wishing we could help lift the heartache.
You have lost a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and we have lost a special friend from the last 12 years at Moose Lake Camp. (all the help he gave Ross).

Vera and family,
I was surprised and saddened to hear of the sudden death of Doug. I admired Doug as he faced that horrible disease Parkinson's and he faced it with such courage.
He never complained of what he was dealt. I really enjoyed my visits with him and you. May he Rest In Peace and no more pain.

I only knew Doug over the last few years as an integral member of our Parkinson’s group. I’m sure what I saw there was also the way Doug lived his whole life. He was dedicated, genuine, friendly, committed, hardworking, and fun. He will be missed.
