Obituary of Harold Smith

Jesse Ernest “Harold” Smith passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on January 12, 2018 at the age of 83 years.

Harold is survived by: his loving wife, Elfreida; his son, Darwin; his grandchildren, Sheldon (Brenda) Schliemann, Gloria (Dale) Schliemann, Sabrina (Kevin) Schliemann and Alexis Rodriguez-Smith; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Levi, Zoey, Tavin and Calen; his son-in-law, Doug Schliemann; his brother, Donald (Loretta) Smith and his sister, Anita Smith.

Harold was predeceased by his parents, Jesse and Dorthy Smith, his daughter, Loretta Schliemann and his brother, Kenneth Smith.

A time of visitation will be held at McCaw Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 18 at 7:00 PM.

The Funeral Mass for Harold will be held on Friday, January 19 at 1:45 PM from St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta with Fr. Christopher Selveraj officiating.

Donations in memory of Harold may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of donor’s choice.
