Bless her heart, she was such a sweet lady. I will always remember her gentle touch and her absolutely funny side, her giggle & that grin of hers. Such a special lady, so glad I knew her. Rest Easy Wilma, you will be missed.

Remembering my first meeting with Wilma, back in October of 1980. She came to offer support and condolences from the Grace United Church in the days following the death of my husband, John D. Johnson.
I appreciated her time to assist myself and my 5 month old daughter Adele as she helped us get through a rough time.
INow I am especially proud to be a member of the United Church Women's group recently named in her honor, now known as the Wilma Sharpe UCW.
She will be fondly remembered and missed.

I am posting this on behalf of my mother Myrna Stephens, who is Wilma’s niece.
“A life well lived. Due to the geographical distances between us over the years, we seldom met. However my memories are very fond, particularly in my childhood . She truly was a pioneer and I deeply admired her.”

May she rest in peace I was blessed to have Wilma perform my wedding ceremony July 1982. As I knew her from our home town church, and a teen. I remember my mother (Muriel trenaman) was it her 80th???telling me about a birthday coffee they had gotten together for Wilma, I believe it was Arby's a few years ago where she gifted all of her friends that came to her birthday at two dollar bill , that story to stick with me for a long time what a generous woman she was, in many little easy

Our sincere sympathy to Wilma's family and friends. Such a gracious and loving woman that so many will miss. I have so many memories of Wilma, especially as she helped me, along with help from Harold Martin to go back to school so I could be a LLWL. I will treasure the books she gave me. May peace be found as memories are treasured.

Dear Gladys Jack and the Sharpe family,
Firstly Gladys, our deepest sympathies in the loss of your dear Debbie and Bob Jr. and now your's and our beloved friend, Wilma.
Wilma held such a special place in our heart, for her ministry to all the family's i called on her to officiate for during my time with the McCaw family, her ministry while i was a relief organist/pianist at Grace United and especially her love and grace as she officiated at our wedding (with the choir in the background) 35+ years ago.
We so enjoyed seeing Wilma at functions over the years and catching up on her life with her yearly Christmas greeting.
Wish we could be at her service, but it is not to be, so our deepest condolences to you all and may she rest in eternal peace.

Wilma was a very special lady, so gentle and kindhearted. She was very good to my sister Marilyn at LCC and Marilyn will miss her very much. Wilma also visited my Mom Elaine in later years when she lived at Jubilee Home, and my Mom appreciated her thoughtfulness!
Our condolences to the family,

Wilma married Carrie and I at Grace United Church during 1986. She was very gracious and kind. Shortly after our wedding Carrie and I relocated to Calgary but stayed in touch with Wilma. Wilma was a bright ray of light, faith and hope. Thank you Wilma.
