Gertrude James passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on February 6, 2018.

Gertrude is survived by; her children, Gloria (Cyril) Flury, Victor James, Lyle (Helene) James and Bruce (Shirley) James; her grandchildren, Lorri (Gordon) James-Rix, Lorna (Dave) Ortynski, Chelsey (Derek)Braithwaite, Cyrena Flury, Jason James, Jennie, Clinton James, Chris James, Lindsay James, Luke James and Chase (Carley) James; her great-grandchildren, Brittany and Briar Ortynski, Mikayla Rix, Donovan, Avery and Aurora Braithwaite, Jessica, Ryeland, Jordan, William, Orion, Brayden and Hailey James;. her daughter-in-law, Mabel James.

Gertrude was predeceased by her husband, Gordon and her son, Merle.

In keeping with Gertrude’s wishes a private family graveside service will be held.

Donations in memory of Gertrude may be made to the ALS Society of Alberta or a charity of donor’s choice.
