BIOGRAPHY BOOTSMAN ~ Patricia "Pat" Bootsman passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the age of 78 years. Pat will be sadly missed by her son Les and Kathy Bootsman of Lloydminster; granddaughter Nicole Bootsman of Saskatoon; niece Teresa Miller of Thunder Bay, Ontario; brother-in-law Mickey and Dorothy Bootsman of Brandon, Manitoba; sister-in-law Marline Prosper of Edmonton as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Pat was predeceased by her husband George in 1991, her father Everett Miller in 1960, her mother Velma Miller in 2000, and her sister Shirley Miller in 2005. The funeral service was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Bob Dybvig officiating. The hymns sung were "Great Is Thy Faithfullness", "It Is So Sweet To Trust In Jesus" and "Precious Lord Take My Hand" accompanied on the organ by John Scott. Active pallbearers were Curtis Lotoski, Earl Evans, Bob Hiltz, Mike Bootsman, Tim Bootsman and Bill Bootsman. Interment was held in the Islay Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS We wish to express our sincere thanks to all the people who have given their love and support during this difficult time. Thanks to Dr. Kerlis and the nurses at the Lloydminster Hospital for the care they provided to mom during her month long stay. Thanks to Pastor Bob Dybvig for the lovely service, kind words, and solo; also thank you to John Scott for playing the organ for the service and to Marline and Anastasia for sharing memories at the service. Thank you to the Pallbearers, to Marian Evans for arranging the lunch and all those that helped prepare and serve lunch at the Kitscoty Church. Also thank you for all the flowers, donations, and many cards we have received. Heartfelt thanks for the food, phone calls, and visits from family and friends. A special thank you to Dean Wenzel and staff of McCaw's for the professional care and kindness. Les, Kathy and Nicole Donations in memory of Pat may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
