Dear Shirley and Family,
We were sad to hear of Edgar's passing and want you to know our thoughts are with all of you at this sad time. Your Edgar was such a nice man, handsome, quiet and kind. All of you are a part of my memories of growing up in Streamstown and always will be. Shirley I admired you and Edgar as a couple and the life you made together and babysitting for you was always a treat. Later in life our encounters were few but always caring and special and how cool it was in 2004 to run into you guys in Dawson City! At that time we were all in good health and enjoying the best job ever, retirement, and I got to see an adventuresome side of Edgar. My heart hurts for you but know Edgar lives on through all of you and may family, friends, your faith, memories and time help you going forward. Take care, stay close and stay strong.
With caring thoughts and sympathy,
Sadie & Curt Vagt (nee Lively)

Our sincere sympathy to Shirley and family on Edgar’s passing. He was a kind, soft spoken man. We always enjoyed a visit with Edgar ( and Shirley) we got together a few times in Yuma and had some good laughs reminiscing. Won’t be able to attend the service but will be thinking of all of you.
