Keith,
I'm sorry I didn't call you sooner... I had been meaning to for years and then suddenly it's years too late...
I will miss you. I wanted to ask you something and then suddenly you're gone. I'm am grateful for our always interesting conversations and thank you for teaching me about the lands around Lloydminster. You were a wealth of wisdom and you shared it freely. I will remember you fondly.
To Keith's kin, I'm sorry for your great loss -- and just what a great guy...
Sincerely,
Peter Worden

Mr. D was my principal at Martin Browne school and a friend of the family. He figures prominently into many school memories, including reading from the roof, learning the ukulele, and travelling to North Battleford. He was an amazing teacher, principal, writer, and person. I'm so sad to hear of his passing; he was one of the good guys! In life and death we reap what we sow; enjoy the harvest Mr. D!

My brother-law, Keith Davidson was a wonderful, caring person with a terrific sense of humour.....always had a joke to tell me.
He and my sister, Joan were teachers ( Keith a principal in his last years). They both understood what teaching was all about and clearly cared for their students and as I learned over the years, the students revered them both.
Keith was a super historical writer and will be remembered for his column in an Edmonton newspaper. His writings always left you wanting more as at the end of an article his words were , but that's another story. When he retired he returned to the schools as an historical storyteller and the students were enthralled by his stories and the occasional song with him singing and accompanying himself on his guitar.
Keith loved his family so much and had a special place in his heart for his granddaughter Emma.
Rest in peace.

Sorry to hear of Keith’s passing. He was a good neighbour to my parents, a fellow principal in the division, and such a great sports fan! I have fond memories of coaching our baseball team in places far from home and looking out to the outfield and seeing Keith out there watching our boys even though he did not have any family on the team. He will be missed! - Gord Spenrath

Kammy, Sandy, and Emma,
Probably one of my favourite memories of your Dad was him leading his grade fours every year on the ukulele, singing “The Good Old Hockey Game”. He was a great man, who always made time for a visit, especially when our “offices” were two desks beside each other. He’ll be missed!

My thoughts are with you. I always enjoyed my visits with Keith whether we were at the ball diamond, going for coffee or just running into each other. He was very intelligent with an amazing memory for facts. He was a great help to me when I went back to school for my second degree by helping my proof read my Native Studies class. I will always appreciate that kindness. To see his eyes light up all I needed to do was to ask about his family. He was so proud of each and every one of you. He will be greatly missed.
