Obituary of Derek Labonte

It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the sudden passing of Derek Labonte.

Derek is survived by: his precious daughter, Pheonix; his siblings, Conner, James, Leo and Nova; his loving parents, Becky Labonte (Brad Ogden) and Curtis (Tasha) Bourgouin; his maternal grandparents, Lyman and Charlene Labonte and Maureen Elder and Bob Ogden; his paternal grandparents, Leo Bourgouin and Rose Reimer; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his football families.

Derek was predeceased by many great grandparents, several close friends and his mentor in football, Coach Kirby.

The Memorial Service for Derek will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 14, 2018  from New Life Community Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan.

Donations in memory of Derek can be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta or the Kitscoty Elementary School Playground Fund.
