Betty and I started Grade One together and walked to school until the family moved to the farm. I remember what proud little girls we were to be so well groomed, she with her little role on top and me with my braids. Although our lives went in different directions, we always kept in touch. My heart went out to her when she experienced hardships and she listen and sympathized when I went through mine. She was a very dear friend for so long and she will be very greatly missed. My condolences to all her family and loved ones.
